What is "Elevate with Grit"?

Hear from women in the workforce as they share obstacles overcome and lessons learned from climbing the career ladder to positions of power and influence. Listen to their stories and be inspired to continue barreling a wider path forward and upward for females and their careers. Marie-Christine Legault, Head of Canada at Cprime, and Joanne Yo, Canada Regional Lead at Atlassian, will host and moderate each episode of the panel series.

Theme: Humble Beginnings & Breaking Barriers

This episode features Anu Bharadwaj (VP of Product, Atlassian), Sarah Paquet (Director & CEO, FINTRAC), and Anne Steiner (VP of Product & Technology, Cprime). We will explore how their career paths started and how those early stages helped shape their career trajectory. We'll also discuss how those beginnings influenced the innovation they strive for in their current leadership positions.

	Anu Bharadwaj        VP of Product @Atlassian Anu Bharadwaj is VP of Product at Atlassian. Anu is responsible for the Enterprise business at Atlassian across product lines and also runs the Cloud platform team. She is an accomplished executive with a track record of growing $500M+ businesses, building great teams and shipping blockbuster products. Anu joined Atlassian in 2014 as the Head of Product for Jira and has held a variety of roles at the company during her tenure. Prior to joining Atlassian, Anu was at Microsoft, launching several products for Microsoft Visual Studio for over 10 years. Anu is passionate about making the world a better place through technology and effective philanthropy. She currently serves as the Director of Atlassian Foundation.
	Sarah Paquet            Director and Chief Executive Officer @FINTRAC Sarah Paquet is Director and CEO of Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada (FINTRAC). Sarah is the first lawyer to lead the organization, and in her role, contributes to the safety of Canadians and the security of the economy as a trusted leader in the global fight against money laundering and terrorist activity financing. Prior to her role at FINTRAC, Sarah was a key driver in modernizing Canadian IT infrastructure at Shared Services Canada, and before that, played a similar part in helping Public Services and Procurement Canada ingrain client service excellence across the department. Sarah is also the Deputy Minister Champion for the University of Ottawa, and a strong advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
	Anne Steiner             VP, Product & Technology @Cprime Anne Steiner leads the Cprime Product Agility practice and was previously band leader for DevJam - a group of collaborative agilists based in Minneapolis who teach, coach, and practice a pragmatic blend of product, processes, and technologies. DevJam has helped companies of all shapes and sizes transform from traditional, project-thinking to become product-driven organizations that emphasize continuous learning. Anne has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, working as a developer, product owner, product leader, and coach. Anne also actively promotes building communities of practitioners in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and frequently speaks at national and regional events.
